Surveillance Camera Registry – If you have a surveillance system at your home or business, you can register it with the Drayton Valley RCMP to help officers identify locations that may have valuable evidence to aid in investigations. Sept. 23
6:37 a.m. – Drayton Valley – Frank Maddock School – Complainant reporting vandalism to the window at the school. Members attended. Matter still under investigation.
10:08 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 22 Avenue – Complainant attended detachment to report a collision. Complainant had lent their truck out and received word it was in the ditch by Boston Pizza. Significant damage to their Ford F150.
11:10 a.m. – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a break and enter to the new aquatic centre overnight. Suspects broke into the building and climbed up scaffolding stairs where they got onto the roof and spray painted the roof. Fire extinguishers were also set off in the building.
12:01 p.m. – Brazeau county – 67 Street – Complainant reporting a break and enter to their compound. Suspect is a male. Matter is still under investigation.
2:11 p.m. – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting a break, enter and theft from lease site.
3:07 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Members received a report of a two vehicle collision. Members attended.
September 24
1:40 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Complainant reporting a possible impaired driver in a silver Dodge truck. Vehicle attempted to hit complainant. Matter is still under investigation.
8:21 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting an individual set a large fire using camping fire starter in the middle of the road, leaving scorch mark on the pavement. Members attended, matter under investigation.
12:21 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complainant reporting use of a stolen debit card. Suspects were on bikes. Matter is under investigation.
6:21 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 55 Avenue – Complainant reporting a possible assault on youth. Matter is still under investigation.
September 25
5:32 p.m. – Brazeau county – Complainant advised they were out hunting and when they returned approximately 45 minutes later, their vehicle was fully engulfed in fire. Fire extinguished.
September 26
1:35 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a disturbance. Individual is high and refusing to go to sleep, asked them to leave and they won’t. Member attended and subsequently arrested individual for mischief. Held in cells until sober.
2:05 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Break and enter to store. Member attended and found rear side door broken and two outer buildings were breached. Several power tools stolen. Members located a suspect vehicle and attempted a traffic stop. Vehicle took off at a high rate of speed.
5:04 a.m. – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a trespasser at the landfill with a bike. Individual is roaming around with a flashlight.
6:37 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 20 Avenue – Complainant reporting intoxicated females parked at the gas station. Vehicle is a black Ford car, has been parked at the pumps for over an hour. Member attended. Driver had no licence and vehicle not registered. Vehicle towed.
10:49 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 43 Street – Complainant reporting their 2005 Chevrolet Silverado ¾ ton truck stolen overnight. Silver tool box in the back of the bed and a rusty black push bar on the front.
12:18 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for being on the cell phone while driving.
5:07 p.m. – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting an individual is using firearms. Members attended, individual was shooting air soft guns.
8:31 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – Complainant reporting their silver 2008 Dodge Avenger was stolen. Alberta licence plate BNC 4239.
September 27
10:19 a.m. – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting a possible stolen vehicle. Members investigated and confirmed vehicle stolen the previous day from Drayton Valley. Registered owner contacted, vehicle towed.
September 28
12:18 a.m. – Brazeau County – report received of an intoxicated female who has intensions of driving. Incident started an argument which became physical. Members attended, one female arrested and charged with assault. Held for a bail hearing.
7:20 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting an unwanted male and threats. Members attended and arrested one male. Male held for bail hearing.
September 29
3:22 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting trespassing on a cell tower. Members advised. Unknown if any damage or anything stolen.
