Brazeau County council recently passed the 2026 Schedule of Fees Bylaw with minor changes to some rates.
Late penalties and violations have been introduced to the Aggregate Levy Bylaw, including a late reporting surcharge of $150 and a late payment penalty of 1.5 per cent interest per month.
Violation tickets will be $1,000 for the first offence, $2,500 for the second and $5,000 for the third and any subsequent offences.
The county has also removed all but the daily booking rate for Easyford and Modeste Campground rentals. It also eliminated the $200 volleyball net deposit. Previously, residents could also choose from different rates for a two-day weekend, a three-day weekend or a full week.
The changes were approved by county council during its regular meeting on April 7.
