Drayton Valley town council has appointed an interim Chief Administrative Officer (CAO) as Jocelyn Whaley has stepped down from the role.
Following the town council meeting on March 4, the town says it and CAO Whaley mutually agreed to part ways, effective that day.
To maintain continuity, Jennifer Stone has been appointed as acting CAO.
“On behalf of council and the town, we thank Jocelyn for her service during her tenure,” comments Mayor Nancy Dodds. “We wish her every success in her future pursuits.”
The town will share more information on the recruitment process for a permanent CAO as it becomes available.
