The Town of Drayton Valley and Brazeau County are seeking resident input on a Regional Recreation and Culture Master Plan.
The plan will guide decisions about parks, trails, arenas, community halls, programs and events for the next 10-15 years.
As the region grows and changes, town and county officials say they need to make sure facilities and services keep up with changing needs.
The municipalities are hosting a Coffee and Conversations event where residents are invited to have an informal chat with project consultants. You can share what’s working well, what you enjoy about the county and what you want to see in the future.
On March 6, residents can attend at a few locations at the following times:
- Easyford Community Hall: 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m.
- Lindale Hall: 1:30-3 p.m.
- Drayton Valley (Team Auctions Centre lobby): 4-5:30 p.m.
Registration is not required, and attendees are welcome to stay for 10 minutes or a whole session.
