8:23 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Ave – Complainant reported his bike stolen in the past two months had been located at the Coach Motel. Complainant unable to provide documentation beyond a distinct rust pattern. Member attended, located the bicycle, but determined it wasn’t the stolen one
9:53 am – Tomahawk – Alarm at the Tomahawk Ag Hall. Hall user had forgotten the code, nothing criminal
10:34 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant attended the detachment to report hitting a deer with his truck
11:32 am – Parkland County – Twp Rd 512 – Complainant reported fuel stolen from several vehicles on his property. Under investigation
12:47 pm – Drayton Valley – Hospital – Hang-up 911 call. This is a routine occurrence at the hospital due to visitors being unfamiliar with the phone system
1:04 pm – Drayton Valley – Power Center Blvd – Complainant reported hitting adjacent car when opening her vehicle door and apologizing to a male with the vehicle. Complainant came out after shopping to find her car keyed. Under investigation
3:08 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 St – Complainant reported a female acting strangely, with a baby stroller, lifting her shirt and exposing her breasts. Members attended, female not with a child, not causing a scene and wearing a bra. Female was warned about her behaviour
3:36 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Ave/54 St – Member on patrol ran a plate on a suspicious vehicle, which came back as stolen from a pickup truck. Member tried to box the car in but the driver was able to make his escape. No pursuit initiated. Under investigation to ID driver by other means
5:32 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant attended the detachment making various complaints about being followed by multiple vehicles for long distances and possibly being drugged. Member unable to substantiate any of the complaints which appeared to be mental health related
6:52 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Ave – Member from Breton requested a wellbeing check on a female in Drayton Valley. Member located the female and determined her to be upset from a rough day but not a danger to herself
7:50 pm – Drayton Valley – Industrial Rd – Complainant reporting that a homeless camp on private property had been dismantled the previous day and one male had returned. Members attended and located one male drying his clothes. The male was directed to move along
7:55 pm – Parkland County – Hwy 624 – Complainant reported issues with possession of a residence relating to an ongoing divorce. Member spoke to both parties and provided some direction on how to proceed, but police had no grounds or power to intervene
8:19 pm – Brazeau County – RR 70 – Complainant reported two suspicious trucks speeding by her residence. Vehicles not located
September 10
1:56 am – Drayton Valley – Hospital – Complaint from AHS Peace Officer regarding a suspicious female sleeping in her vehicle in the parking lot. Members attended and identified the female, Peace Officer advised she could stay if there were no problems caused
2:08 am – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant reported a blue Ram pickup doing donuts, revving the engine and playing loud music. Member attended, truck appeared to have left
4:31 am – Drayton Valley – 41 St/43 Ave – Complainant reporting two males digging around in a truck. The males reportedly glared at the complainant as he passed by. Males and the truck not located
9:50 am – Brazeau County – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on individual who hasn’t been heard from. Members spoke with individual who was fine
9:53 am – Drayton Valley – Industrial road – Complainant calling to report someone not following the COVID rules.
10:52 am – Drayton Valley – 46 Street – Complainant reporting son is acting very erratically. Breaking things. Members attended and calmed son down.
11:13 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Complainant called to request a wellbeing check on and individual at the playground who appears to be sleeping on the slide. Members attended and spoke with female who had recently used drugs, EMS offered and refused.
4:23 pm – Drayton Valley – 41 Avenue – 911 static line received from Telus tower. Ongoing issue, Telus is aware
5:13 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 620 – Complainant reporting an erratic driver in a black Dodge Truck pulling an orange air compressor. Driver passed several other vehicles. Vehicle not located.
6:10 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – Complainant reporting approximately 4 males trespassing in a yard. Members attended and located males. Males asked to leave.
7:09 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant calling to report male guest has not paid for 2 nights and is refusing to leave. Members attended, male barricaded himself with a mattress. Members gained entry and advised male he could not stay there any longer. Male left when requested.
7:25 pm – Brazeau County – On patrol members located two individuals on a lease site. Both arrested.
9:28 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 39 – Report received of a possible impaired driver in a black SUV. Vehicle was being driven erratically, passing people on double solid lines and driving in the wrong lane. Members contacted the registered owner who advised that their grand daughter was driving the vehicle. Grand daughter to be spoken to.
9:34 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Street – Complainant reporting individual driving without a license. Members located vehicle and person who advised the caller had damaged their truck and threw something at them.
9:37 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant calling to report son missing. Son located shortly after.
10:55 pm – Brazeau county – RR 82 – Complainant reporting theft of vehicle. Vehicle is a 2014 dodge Ram, Black. Vehicle taken by family member
September 11
10:03 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on individual. Members located individual who was fine.
11:12 am – Drayton Valley – 46 Avenue – Complainant reporting a traffic hazard. No one is obeying lights. Members advised caller that the DV100 was going on and volunteers were conducting traffic control.
12:41 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – 911 call requesting removal of female from the library. Female has been yelling and knocked over some books. Female had left prior to arrival. Female located, ongoing issue.
1:00 pm – Drayton Valley – Power Center Blvd. – Complainant reporting someone cut the locks on the compound and stole 20 batteries.
5:17 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting a male acting irrationally in the drive thru. Members attended and spoke with male.
6:09 pm – Drayton Valley – 34 Avenue – Complainant reporting suspicious people in one of the rooms, possible doing drugs
6:38 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a possible impaired driver in a Dark Blue Ford Truck. Vehicle is swerving all over the road. Members did not locate vehicle.
8:20 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – Complainant calling to report teenagers hanging around and messing with the fence at Evergreen school. Member attended, youth were gone upon arrival.
8:32 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 621 – Complainant reported a semi truck jackknifed after hitting a horse. No injuries to driver. Horse deceased.
8:44 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting male missing. Complainant returned home and found the residence trashed. Male located after.
9:57 pm – Brazeau County – 911 hang-up received. Member called back and spoke with individual who stated that everything was fine. Members attended and determined no offence and everything was fine.
September 12
8:54 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a dangling traffic sign. Appears that a vehicle had hit the overhead slow down sign. Members attended, FORTIS contacted.
11:47 am – Drayton Valley – 44 Avenue – Members on patrol located female running down the alley crying. Members spoke with female who advised someone just ran over their dog then drove away. Dog is deceased.
12:59 pm – tomahawk – complainant requesting members conduct a wellbeing check on individual who has not been heard from in 3 days. Members contacted family member who advised individual was fine and was with them.
1:30 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Avenue – Complainant reporting male who is on conditions has returned to property. Members attended, male outside. Staff advised that male is allowed on property but not inside.
6:58 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on female. Female had been heard from via text message advising she was fine.
8:13 am – Brazeau county – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for not wearing seatbelt
10:07 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant called to report vehicle broken into sometime during the weekend. Suspects gained entry to the yard by cutting the fence. Entry to the vehicle was made by punching the lock on the door. Tools stolen along with insurance and registration.
10:19 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting their landlord is being cruel to animals. Member spoke with both parties. Landlord tenant issue. Animals were unharmed and fine.
11:21 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant attended the detachment to report someone broke into their cargo trailer. Nothing taken, complainant scared off the individuals.
11:22 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting someone attempted to break into a shed. Tools left behind.
11:36 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting an assault. Members attended, male arrested and held for bail hearing.
11:36 am – Drayton Valley – 34 Avenue – Complainant reporting a female in distress. Female showed up in work yard, came out of the bush. Member attended, EMS on scene, female taken to the hospital.
11:52 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting they received an eviction notice for the end of the month. Landlord had showed up and yelled at them and made them leave.
12:50 pm – Drayton Valley – 50A Street – Complainant called to report theft of fuel. Someone was observed backing up onto the property and siphoned the tanks and trucks over the weekend. Member attended.
12:53 pm – Drayton Valley – 49 Avenue – Complainant reporting someone broke into their garage and stole a speaker. Member attended.
1:05 pm – Drayton Valley – Center court Trailer court – Complainant reporting an unwanted male. Male who had been released from jail recently had attempted to kick the door in. Male is still on the property throwing things around. Member attended.
2:24 pm – Tomahawk– Complainant reporting ongoing issues with neighbour. Neighbour is trespassing on property, threats uttered.
3:56 pm – Drayton Valley – Coach Motel – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on male. Members attended and spoke with male who was fine.
4:33 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting someone is firing a gun close to their location.
5:02 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant requesting patrols on the property. Issues with theft on the property. Homeless person had left a backpack on the property. Member attended and seized back pack. Looking for owner to return.
5:09 pm – Tomahawk – 911 hang-up received from female. Stated it was a misdial. Members attended, 3 year old had gotten a hold of their phone. No emergency.
5:24 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting a white Dodge Dakota is swerving on 50 Street and slamming on their breaks. Member contacted the Registered Owner and advised them of the complaint.
5:39 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Request to assist EMS. Appears that a cyclist was struck by a vehicle. Members attended and spoke with cyclist who advised that they were on their way to the hospital. No indication they were struck by a vehicle. EMS transported individual to hospital.
5:56 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – Member on patrol observed known male driving a vehicle. Male on conditions to not be driving. Male arrested and charged with failing to comply with conditions.
6:52 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a male stole a generator from the workshop at the dump. Members attended. Generator located.
9:40 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – request to assist fire department at scene of a explosion and subsequent fire. Resident had left a can in the fire pit which exploded.
September 14
1:30 am – Drayton Valley – 43 Avenue – Complainant reporting a loud party. Members attended and spoke with the offending party.
2:43 am – Drayton Valley – 67 Street – Complainant reporting a break and enter. Members attended, perimeter check completed.
5:31 am – Brazeau County – complainant reporting a suspicious vehicle in a black newer GMC Sierra 1500 appears to be scoping out properties. Members attended, vehicle not located.
8:43 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 620 – complainant reporting they were travelling southbound on Hwy 620 when they hit a moose. No injuries, however vehicle was not driveable
9:31 am – Brazeau County – Complainant called to report they were receiving harassing text messages from their landlord. Member spoke with both parties who agreed to keep contact at a minimum
10:22 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting a family dispute which resulted in an assault. Complainant only wanted this reported and did not wish to pursue further.
11:42 am – Brazeau County – complainant reporting cows and a bull on the hwy. Member attended, no cows observed.
12:12 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting an individual with a blue back pack was wandering around the trails near Eldorado School with what appeared to be a sword. Members located individual who was walking to visit mother. No sword observed.
2:00 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting they were driving in the Lodgepole area when a deer came out of the ditch and struck their vehicle.
2:49 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant calling to report they are moving and some property has been moved onto their property which they believed to be stolen.
8:41 pm – Brazeau County – complainant reporting a possible intoxicated driver in a grey Chevrolet Silverado. Vehicle is going very slow and weaving from side to side. Members patrolled the area with negative results.
8:50 pm – Drayton Valley – complainant reporting individual driving without a license.
September 15
2:08 am – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – 911 hang-up received. Members attended and noted that all was secure. Ongoing issue.
6:53 am – Drayton Valley – 2 vehicle collision. No injuries.
8:19 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Member on patrol observed a vehicle abandoned in the middle of the road. Doors were unlocked and the ignition had been punched out. Registered owner contacted and advised it had been stolen.
9:14 am – Tomahawk – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on individual. Third request received. Member attended and once again spoke with the individual who was fine.
10:03 am – Drayton Valley – complainant called to report they had e transferred money to the wrong person. Complainant advised this is a civil matter.
10:07 am – Brazeau County – Complainant reporting mischief to community mailboxes. Occurred overnight.
1:54 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting they purchased a puppy on town post and e transferred $700. Seller accepted the money and then cut off contact.
3:10 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – Complainant called to report they had received a package in the mail. The complainant received a phone call shortly after advising them to not open the package. The caller had advised that they were from Canadian Border Services and that the package contained items that were illegal and as a result there is a warrant issued for their arrest. This is a scam and people are encouraged to hang up.
5:44 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – Complainant called to report an aggressive youth at the skate park. Youth was acting erratically. Youth left prior to police arrival. Members conducted patrols in the area, individual not located.
9:13 pm – Parkland County – Complainant reporting son missing. Son left the residence in the morning and has not been seen or heard from since. Ongoing issue. Male is 16 years old wearing navy coloured shoes.
September 16
2:34 am – Rocky Rapids – 911 hang-up received. Members attended area. Individual had left a residence and hit a parked truck. Matter is still under investigation
