The Merry Christmas Market gets underway this Saturday and Sunday at the MacKenzie Conference Centre in Drayton Valley.
From 12-5 p.m. on Dec. 13 and 14, residents and visitors can shop local vendors for Christmas gifts, and bring the family for some holiday fun.
From 1-3 p.m. on Saturday, kids can decorate Christmas cookies with Santa. At the same time Sunday, they can decorate ornaments with the Grinch. Participation is by donation, whether that’s a $5 monetary donation or a gift for Santas Anonymous.
Entrance to the market is free with a donation for the Drayton Valley Food Bank.
