The Town of Drayton Valley has released the unofficial results of its municipal election, which took place on Oct. 20.
Although the ballots have been counted, the results aren’t official until after 12 p.m. on Oct. 24.
As of Oct. 21, incumbent Nancy Dodds is leading the race for mayor with 663 votes. Candidate Matthew MacDonald has acquired 547, and Kody Trafiak saw 394.
Incumbent council candidate Colin Clarke will likely be back for another term with 799 votes. New to the team will be Brandon Boehm, with 611 votes; Cody Brooks, with 652; Ryan Fynn, with 1,038; Pat Jeffery, with 799; and Fayrell Wheeler, with 725.
