The division stresses that even though the ATA has provided notice for job action, negotiations are ongoing.
It adds, the division remains hopeful the bargaining process will lead to an agreeable settlement between the provincial Teachers’ Employer Bargaining Association (TEBA) and the ATA before this deadline.
At this time, WRSD says all schools remain open and regular learning and instruction will continue for all students.
As negotiations continue, WRSD says it remains committed to informing school communities with any updates when available.
