Five individuals have been arrested following multiple property crime investigations conducted by Drayton Valley RCMP.
The detachment says it’s received multiple complaints regarding motor vehicle theft over the past couple of months, prompting the targeted initiative.
“The Drayton Valley RCMP remains committed to the investigation and prosecution of individuals that engage in property crime in and around the community of Drayton Valley,” commented Cpl. Cam Turner, the non-commissioned officer in charge of the Drayton Valley RCMP GIS. “These criminal offences victimize members of the community and often can lead to lost wages and out of pocket expenses for victims of these crimes. The Drayton Valley RCMP will continue to ensure that persons who choose to engage in criminal activity and prey on members of the community will be located and dealt with according to law.”
