The Drayton Valley Thunder have had a phenomenal start to their pre-season.
Over the weekend, the Thunder had back-to-back wins against the Whitecourt Wolverines.
Friday night, the Thunder were in Whitecourt where they beat the Wolverines 6-5.
On Saturday, the Wolverines came to Drayton for the rematch.
The Wolverines Teydon Trembecky scored in the third period to tie the game 6-6, but the Thunder’s Hunter Price scored in overtime to give the Thunder the 7-6 win.
