August 12
8:35 am – Drayton Valley – 41 Street – Complainant attended the detachment to report vandalism to their fence. Appears that the fence had been struck by a vehicle.
10:16 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 620 – Complainant reporting a possible intoxicated driver in a light silver Dodge Ram crew cab truck. Vehicle was swerving and speeding. Members attended the area and made patrols. Vehicle not located.
10:49 am – Drayton Valley – 911 hang-up received from business in area. Members attended location and confirmed no emergency.
12:56 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant attended the detachment to report vehicle had been towed to an auction mart and several items were missing from the truck. Complainant did not sign off any articles in the truck.
1:44 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant attended the detachment to report harassing communications. Has to do with an individual who was purchasing puppy.
3:05 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Street – Complainant reporting an attempted theft. Female with white hair and red tank top had entered complainants yard through the front gate. Female was about to take complainants bottles and was confronted. Female ran away and got into a white jeep wrangler.
3:45 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 620 – Complainant called to report a male walking on the highway westbound toward violet grove. Male wandered into complainants yard and advised someone had stole their vehicle and phone . Member attended location, male had left prior to arrival. Patrols made, male not located.
8:28 pm – Brazeau County – Complainant calling to report dangerous driving. A red or Maroon motorcycle had passed complainant on solid lines into oncoming traffic. Vehicle not located.
August 13
3:16 am – Drayton Valley – 49 Street – Complainant reporting suspicious lights. Complainant heard two males near their residence. Members attended location and made patrols in the area. No persons located.
3:56 am – Drayton Valley – 43A Street – Complainant reporting a group of youth were making noise outside and put a wooden construction barricade in front of complainants door. One suspect id described as female with long blonde hair wearing a white shirt, jeans and rubber sneakers.
8:46am – Drayton Valley – 52 street – Possible intoxicated female at the entrance of the trailer park who is hunched over on the ground. Female is wearing a pink dress and jean jacket. Member attended and located female. Female arrested for public intoxication.
11:05am – Drayton Valley – 40 street – Complaint of fraudulent phone call. Complainant provided SIN number to caller. Member spoke to the complainant for details and referred him to the Canadian Anti- Fraud Center for further instructions on how to proceed.
11:32am – Drayton Valley – 51 avenue – 911 report of a disturbance in front of the bakery. One unknown male punching the store window, no weapons seen, male left on a motorbike with a leather jacket, blue pants. Members attended, obtained motorcycle licence plate. Motorcycle located and ticket issued.
12:17pm – Drayton Valley – 53 avenue – Residential alarm, two hits, living room motion, and back door. Members attended and located male inside. Homeowner contacted and advised that the male was her son and he was allowed to be at the residence.
1:27 pm – Drayton Valley – Members served an Emergency Protection order on individual.
1:50pm – Drayton Valley – Econorest – Report of a theft of bike. Caller reporting white male, over 5′, skinny, short brown hair stole his bike. Member spoke to the SOC, the bike is property that belonged to a deceased individual, and there are arguments over who is entitled to what property. Civil matter.
2:36 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 avenue – MVC – Complainant’s vehicle was parked in front of Drayton’s’ Restaurant, when SOC made a u- turn to park in empty stall next to the complainants vehicle the SOC collided with the complainant’s Red Ford Taurus, damaging the whole drivers side.
3:16 pm – Drayton Valley – 51 avenue – Complainant called detachment concerned about citizen unable to hold her balance, hunched over and believed to be on drugs. SOC is blonde, wearing dark pants and black tank top. Patrols completed in the area, could not locate the female. Detachment staff confirmed that the complainant saw the female walking away from the area.
3:38pm – Brazeau County – Report of possible stolen vehicle alongside Hwy 620. Vehicle was found in bushes, completely smashed and stripped, no license plates on vehicle. Upon investigation, checks on VIN indicate vehicle not stolen. Vehicle has been abandoned. Alberta Environment and Parks aware of vehicle location. Vehicle police taped.
9:10pm – Brazeau County – Reported of a theft of battery from a lease site. Member attended the scene, one battery was taken from the site, one medium size crescent wrench was found on the ground. Observed fresh tire marks. Photos were taken. Crescent wrench seized.
9:27pm – Drayton Valley – 52 avenue – Complainat reported she found a small baggy what appeared to be crystal meth on her backyard while cutting her lawn. Member attended and seized small buggy of crystal meth as “no case seizure”.
9:45pm – Drayton Valley – EconoRest – Complainant reporting SOC snatched her purse away with phone at the Econorest motel. Members attended location to inquire shortly after and no one saw this take place, property rep said the complainant was heading towards Aspen Motor Inn. Members located the SOC at the Coach motel who said she was nowhere near the EconoRest. Patrols were made to locate the complainant but were negative.
10:25pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 624 – Report of a collision with a moose. Vehicle was travelling westbound on Highway 624 when they struck a moose that was crossing the road. Moose ended up in the ditch on the north side of Highway 624, heavy front end damage to the vehicle, not driveable, tow truck dispatched.
August 14
1:47am – Brazeau County – Country Style Trailer Court – Report that complainant’s girlfriend who is extremely intoxicated is saying she is going to walk back to Sunchild road because he does not love her anymore. Members attended and spoke with both parties who were back at the residence upon arrival. SOC was belligerent and shouting to members and covered in shampoo. Members arrested SOC for breach of the peace and lodged her in cells until sober.
3:41am – Drayton Valley – 47 avenue – Report of assault in progress – Male caller, requested police, fire and ambulance. Call was dropped, upon callback the complainant reported he was ok, despite reporting a lump on his head. Members attended and saw SOC outside and very intoxicated. Members spoke with the complainant who was also very intoxicated. Members gave the complainant a ride to a friends house and warned the SOC.
11:09am – Drayton Valley – 47 avenue – Report for a domestic. Complainant and Witness explained that SOC showed up to house with bat. No physical confrontation actually occurred. SOC left after small argument. Members arrived at location, spoked with complainant and witness, implication of threats were addressed. Statements obtained.
1:48pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant called to ask for a wellness check on his daughter. Member contacted the mother of the girl; she advised that she had responded to complainant’s email. Member contacted the complainant again and advised him to check his email as it pertained to the well being of his daughter. Custody battle between parents.
2:02pm – Brazeau County – Complainant called and reported a strange Russian man interrupting a Christian Church Service he was holding on his land. Members attended and spoke the the SOC and asked him to gather his things. The SOC was cooperative advising that God was speaking to him causing him to have loud out bursts. Member drove the SOC back to town.
6:47pm – Drayton Valley – 52 street – Drayton Manor, report of assault. SOC was said to have punched his brothers in the face. Both parties possibly intoxicated at the time. Complainant called stating that his brother was also breaching his probation orders. Members responded and found the SOC in the apartment curled in a ball crying with his family members standing around. Members arrested the SOC for assault. All members of the family were very intoxicated and it was determined to be a consensual fight. With the SOC aggressively shoving the complainant.
8:38pm – Drayton Valley – Poplar Ridge Trailer Court – report of a suspicious truck that is broke down. Members attended the area and located the SOC vehicle, unoccupied but spoke to the residents at the house nearby who confirmed the vehicle driver was with them. He was having car issues, went to get something to fix the car.
8:49pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 759 – 911 open line – heard a scream then someone said he’s hurting me, then sounded like they dropped the phone. Member contacted the owner of the phone who stated her grand daughter accidently dialed 911. Member attended and confirmed everything ok. Address is a campsite by Berrymoore Bridge off 759 hwy.
9:47pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 620 – Complainant reported that her 2002 Chevrolet Cavalier 4 doors grey colour vehicle was stolen out of the parking lot from the private camp ground. Complainant stated she is only here visiting from BC. Keys were in the vehicle and left unlocked. Complainant’s purse was in the vehicle along with debit and credit cards. Vehicle has ½ of gas. No weapons or firearms.
10:07 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant calling to report a possible intoxicated driver in a older white ford welding truck. Members patrolled the area, vehicle not located.
10:15 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a dispute. Can hear someone yelling and banging. Members attended, verbal dispute.
August 15
12:04 am – Brazeau county – RR 80 – Request from another RCMP detachment to attempt to locate male. Members attended, male was fine.
1:49 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for being on cell phone while driving.
10:34 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting theft of their White 2007 Ford F350 sometime overnight.
1:40 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 620 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for no registration.
4:30 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a possible stolen vehicle. Complainant advised that they believed the truck had been stolen out of Parkland earlier in the week.
5:51 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for stunting.
6:19 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant called to0 report a possible impaired driver in a red Ford SUV. Member patrolled the area, vehicle not located.
10:56 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant calling to report their friend missing. Members located known female, she was fine.
11:08 pm – Drayton Valley – 53 Street – Complainant reporting 5 individuals were chasing someone on the street. Members made patrols and did not locate anyone in duress.
11:08 pm – Drayton Valley – Request from Edmonton Police Service to execute a warrant for arrest. Member located individual who was arrested and released.
August 16
2:01 am – Parkland County – Complainant calling to reporting neighbour’s car alarm going off. This is a neighbour dispute. Neighbour is frustrated with complainants dog barking all night. Member spoke with individual who agreed to shut off the alarm.
9:56 am – Brazeau county – RR 73 – Complainant reporting a Rubbermaid container full of copper wire. Member attended location and seized container.
10:01 am – Tomahawk – Request for patrols in the area of Hwy 759. Member attended area and conducted patrols.
10:29 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 621 – Complainant reporting vandalism. Someone keyed the side of their Black Dodge Ram.
10:37 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting someone left a pink, blue and white child’s pedal bike outside. Member attended and seized the bike.
12:16 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting a suspicious person burning and cutting copper wire. Members attended and located a smouldering fire. Ticket issued.
1:32 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – 911 hangup call received. Ongoing issue.
4:22 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting possible stolen property. Members attended, television was broken, no evidence was stolen.
4:31 pm – Brazeau county – RR 83 – Complainant reporting harassment. Ongoing issue. Order in place restricting communication. Matter is still under investigation.
5:43 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on daughter. Member contacted daughter who was fine.
August 17
8:36 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 621 – Complainant was driving on Hwy 621 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their truck. Vehicle was not driveable.
10:32 am – Drayton Valley – WalMart parking lot – Complainant reporting they were parked in the parking lot. When they returned they observed damage to their 2019 White ford Expedition.
3:53 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant reporting an attempted theft from telus site. Male was inside and trying to steal items. Male took off in a older black buick regal.
5:44 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant reporting someone attempted to steal their 2003 Brown Dodge Ram. Complainant ran after the suspect who entered the South Petro Can and hit a panel with the mirror. Suspect fled . Matter is still under investigation.
5:58 pm – Parkland County – Complaint received of a vehicle fire. Fire department attended and extinguished the fire. No injuries.
9:52 pm – Brazeau County – RR 65 – Member attended residence of male who is on house arrest. Male not present. Charges laid.
9:58 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Complainant reporting they feared their safety. Member attended and removed another person from the room.
August 18
5:59 am – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Alarm going off at Royal Bank. Members attended, no sign of forced entry, all secure.
8:05 am – Drayton Valley Landfill – Complainant reporting female at the landfill. Female has pink hair and was walking around. Female ran back into the trees. Member attended and patrolled the area, female not located.
10:01 am – Drayton Valley – Member on patrol observed known male. Male was arrested on outstanding warrants from Edmonton.
4:19 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant requesting member transport individual to Ponoka.
4:45 pm – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting a female on a bike is holding up traffic riding in the center. Member attended, female not located.
5:11 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Complainant requesting a wellbeing check on individual. Members checked all areas, not located.
5:11 pm – Drayton Valley – Econorest – Complainant calling to report evicted tenants were refusing to leave. Members attended tenants were in the process of packing up their things into a large truck.
7:20 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant calling requesting assistance from members in getting their lawn mower back. Members attended and kept the peace while complainant retrieved their lawn mower.
7:52 pm – Drayton Valley – 49 Avenue – Complainant reporting individuals dropping bags in the tall grass near their residence. Complainant collected bag which contained numerous vape bottles and 3 steaks. Member attended residence and retrieved bag.
9:13 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Street – 911 hang-up received from female who appeared to be distraught. Members attended and located 2 females fighting. Witnesses spoken to and determined it was a consensual fight. No charges.
9:15 pm – Brazeau county – Complainant calling to report a break and enter which occurred sometime wince Monday. Tile taken from basement
9:16 pm – Drayton Valley – 911 hangup received.
August 19
2:52 am – Violet Grove – Complainant called to report their boyfriend won’t give back their wallet. Members attended and retrieved the wallet.
