The Town of Drayton Valley has announced it’s beginning its annual Hydrant Flushing Program.
As a result, residents may see crews working in their area and could experience very brief water pressure changes while the work is done, including low water pressure.
Officials say hydrant flushing can also disturb sediment in water lines due to the high velocity, so if you notice a discolouration of your water, run cold water until it clears up.
