A Drayton Valley resident has won $100,000 from the January 21 Extra draw.
Susan A.’s husband thought she was joking when she first told him the news.
“I checked it on the app and told him to come look,” she said. “He thought I was joking, and we had to check it again to show him.”
Susan said she cried happy tears as she paced her home in disbelief. Now, Susan looks forward to giving that home some renovations with the winnings.
“I’m just so happy,” she said.
She purchased her winning Lotto 649 and Extra tickets from the 7-Eleven at 4913 50 Avenue in Drayton Valley.
