The Rocky Mountain House RCMP and a family from Devon are requesting public assistance in locating missing 20-year-old Carter Rodgers, whose vehicle was found destroyed and unoccupied.
Carter was reported missing on Feb. 14, after travelling to the Rocky Mountain House area from Devon; this route may have taken him through the Drayton Valley region.
That day, he informed his family that his vehicle had become stuck in a ditch. On Feb. 15, his vehicle was located burned on an oil lease road on the O’Chiese First Nation. His family and the police say he has not been seen or heard from since, and there is serious concern for his well-being.
The RCMP Major Crimes Unit is actively investigating and asks the public to come forward with any information on Rodgers’ whereabouts or his interactions in the days leading up to his disappearance, especially on Feb. 14 or 15.
Carter Rodgers is described as:
- Medium complexion
- Black hair
- Brown eyes
- Five feet two inches tall
- 160 pounds
- Last seen wearing a black Metal Militia toque, white tank top, and black and white dress shirt
- Carter’s vehicle is described as a 2025 blue Honda Civic bearing Alberta license plate CWJ-5343
