Brazeau County and Farming Forward are hosting an Alberta Environmental Farm Plan Workshop in Drayton Valley.
At 1 p.m. on March 3, attendees will learn how to identify and assess environmental risks on their farm and find practical ways to improve sustainability.
The workshop should also help professionals get their farm plan ready for upcoming funding opportunities like AgriInvest, the Resilient Agricultural Landscape Program and more.
The event is free, but registration is required and can be completed online.
Participants are advised to bring a laptop, and organizers say your information will remain confidential between you and your technician.
The event is being held in the Brazeau County Administration Office.
