Drayton Valley Thunder’s Archer Cooke named AJHL’s Rookie of the Week

The Drayton Valley Thunder’s Archer Cooke is the AJHL’s Rookie of the Week following last week’s performance.

The first-year goaltender posted a 2-0 record from Dec. 1-7 and currently leads the AJHL with a .928 save percentage.

On Friday, Cooke was named Player of the Game, with 31 saves supporting a 2-1 win over the Lloydminster Bobcats.

He then made 33 saves on Sunday against the Drumheller Dragons.
