The Board reviewed and approved the 2025-2026 Board Meeting Dates, and the Trustee / School Representatives.
Calendar Change
At the same meeting, the board voted unanimously to change the November non instructional days to instructional days.
WRSD officials confirm to Pattison Media that the extra instructional day is an effort to catch up from the October teachers’ strike, which saw students out of classrooms for around three weeks.
The extra instructional day will be Nov. 21 in the north, and Nov. 28 in the south — with all staff and students in attendance.
November Board Meeting
The November board meeting will be held on Friday, Nov. 21, with a start time of 2:15 p.m. Trustees will participate in World Cafe in the morning and attend an auditors meeting, prior to the board meeting that day.
