Remembrance Day is coming up, and there are a couple of community events residents can attend.
Drayton Valley
The local Royal Canadian Legion is hosting an outdoor ceremony beginning at 10:45 a.m., followed by an indoor service.
Afterward, attendees are invited to enjoy lunch and socialize with attending veterans, members of the One Service Battalion from the Edmonton Garrison, as well as RCMP and fire and emergency services employees.
The ceremony and service will take place at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch #269 (5204 51 Avenue).
Breton
Residents can join the village council at the Breton Cenotaph for a wreath-laying service starting at 10:45 a.m.
