Wild Rose School Division (WRSD) confirms that students and teachers are both expected to return to class on Oct. 29, and buses will be running as normal.
Early on Oct. 28, the Alberta government passed Bill 2: Back to School Act, which legislates teachers and students back to school on Wednesday.
Under the bill, noncompliance has a hefty fine of $500 per day for union members and $500,000 a day for the union.
WRSD says buses will run regular routes on Wednesday.
