Brazeau County has released the official results of its municipal election, which took place on Oct. 20.
Incumbent candidate Bart Guyon has been elected to another term as reeve. He led the race for reeve with 1,136 votes.
Candidate Pat Vos acquired 858.
The councillor for Division 3, Aria Harris, was acclaimed in late September after nominations closed, as she ran unopposed.
Incumbent councillor candidates Glen Gunderson, Kara Westerlund and Dallas Ekstrom will all serve for another term as well. Gunderson now represents Division 1 after receiving 211 votes; Westerlund received 290 to represent Division 4; and Ekstrom is now the councillor to represent Division 6, with 192 votes.
New faces this term include Carol Vowk in Division 2; she received 219 votes.
Shayne Blosky now represents Division 5 after receiving 183 votes. He ran against incumbent candidate Anthony Heinrich, who tallied 139 votes.
With 5,846 eligible voters in the county, 1,995 ballots were cast, resulting in a voter turnout of 34.1 per cent.
Election results were confirmed at noon on Friday, Oct. 24.
