9:35 a.m. – Brazeau County – Lodgepole area – Complainant reported a lease site broken into; copper wire and gloves stolen.
9:36 a.m. – Brazeau County – Whitby Hall area – Complainant reported a hunting blind stolen from his hunting spot on private property. Occurred over the past 10 days.
10:10 a.m. – Drayton Valley – Complainant reported harassing phone calls from a male disguising his voice. Complainant was changing his phone number and reluctant to provide a possible suspect name or his new number.
12:50 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 St S – Complainant reported some tools and a light bar stolen from her boyfriend’s truck while parked in the truck parking lot near Highway 22 and 50 Street South. Incident occurred over the previous three to four days.
8:07 p.m. – Drayton Valley – West Valley Park Rd (by the pool) – A Town of Drayton Valley Peace Officer requested assistance, as he believed a driver he stopped for traffic infractions was impaired. Member attended and confirmed the Peace Officer’s suspicions. Driver issued a provincial impaired driving suspension, and his truck was impounded.
September 26
2:15 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 St/55 Ave – Members responded to a report of a break-in to a business. Members cleared the premise, but the suspect was gone, along with the business’s cash drawer. Under investigation.
8:07 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 56 Ave – Complainant reported a window broken on his car overnight.
10:02 a.m. – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Complainant reported offensive stickers put on his vehicle while parked at the location. Under investigation.
11:22 a.m. – Drayton Valley – Complainant reported receiving harassing messages from an acquaintance, including being tagged in a lewd TikTok video. Under investigation.
1:34 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Complainants attended the detachment to report ongoing harassment from neighbours. Under investigation.
3:42 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Power Ctr Blvd – Complainant reported being assaulted in a parking lot with a shopping cart. The suspect was apparently swearing at the complainant as she doesn’t like him, asked him if he “wanted to go” and shoved the shopping cart into him. Member investigated, including viewing video surveillance but determined there was not enough evidence to charge. The suspect female was located and warned about her behaviour. The shopping cart was undamaged.
6:44 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 St – Complainant reported a female shoplifter absconded with about $10 worth of merchandise. Several items were paid for but some in a cart were not. Information only.
10:55 p.m. – Brazeau County – Lodgepole area – Complainant reported a window broken on a building on a lease site, and a box of cannabis edibles left behind. Under investigation.
September 27
2:34 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 52 Ave – Member on patrol observed a group of people on the ground. Member determined they were trying to help a friend who was intoxicated and made comments suggesting she planned to harm herself. Member initially arrested the female for public intoxication and lodged her in cells to sober up, but subsequently transported her to a designated mental health facility for an assessment.
7:16 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 54 St – Complainant reported a window broken at a commercial building. Under investigation.
8:00 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 53 Ave – Complainant reported her unlocked vehicle was entered and gone through; some items missing including insurance and registration. Under investigation, likely related to two other nearby incidents that are also under investigation.
September 28
12:06 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 52 Ave – Staff at the bar reported an intoxicated female patron was making racist comments to another patron and had refused three requests to leave. Members attended and attempted to convince the female to leave on her own, but she refused. The female was arrested and held overnight in cells. She was also issued violation tickets under the Gaming, Liquor and Cannabis Act.
10:41 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Ave – Complainant reported ongoing issues with a homeless male sleeping and loitering in an apartment entry. The male has been reported and removed numerous times and has been warned not to return. Though the male had left he was located later and issued a trespass ticket.
12:33 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 53 Ave – Complainant reported a female captured on surveillance carving nonsense onto windows, moving a planter and trying the door keypad at a business. Member was able to identify the female, property representative considering if they want her charged.
2:24 p.m. – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reported a break-in to an industrial site and a large amount of wire stolen from equipment. Under investigation, suspects arrested the following day on an unrelated file.
September 29
9:06 a.m. – Brazeau County – Hwy 22/Twp Rd 504 – Complainant reported seeing a grey minivan drive onto private property after gaining access past a locked gate. Members attended and located the vehicle with three persons inside, a fourth was located hiding nearby. All were arrested and members located stolen property, break-in tools, prohibited weapons and illicit drugs. A 41-year-old, 45-year-old, 58-year-old and 46-year-old, all of Kelowna, B.C., were held for telephone bail hearings on multiple charges. Three were released by a justice of the peace with conditions and upcoming court dates. One was remanded in custody. Investigation is ongoing.
10:00 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 Ave – Complainant reported that a male who had been previously trespassed, and who had been ticketed the previous day, had returned to an apartment building. Under investigation, members unable to attend at the time of the call.
11:32 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 56 Ave – Complainant reported that sometime after June of 2025 his truck had been broken into and his wallet including debit and credit cards were stolen. Since then he has been receiving random bills from one of the credit card companies, but he has been unable to reach that company. Under investigation.
11:47 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 St – Complainant reported two females, around 11-15 years old, had shoplifted various items from a store. Complainant reported that the same youth have stolen in the past. Under investigation to identify the youth and speak to their parents.
12:13 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Power Ctr Blvd – Complainant reported aggressive fake gold salespeople after a male in a black SUV with Quebec plates stopped him and tried to get him to buy fake gold. The suspect forced jewelry into the complainant’s hand and tried to get him to go to the bank to get cash, while also scraping the jewelry with a knife in an attempt to show its authenticity. The complainant refused and the suspect left. Member conducted patrols but did not locate the vehicle or suspects.
9:26 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Power Ctr Blvd – Complainant reported a male acting oddly and sitting on a bench by a business. Members attended and spoke to the known male who stated he was fine and planning to stay in the shelter pods. The male then started walking in the correct direction of the pods.
10:22 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Power Ctr Blvd – Complainant from the previous call reported the male had returned and requested he be removed from the business’s property. Members attended and arrested the male for being under the influence of an illicit substance and lodged him in cells to sober up.
September 30
6:32 a.m.– Drayton Valley – 56 Ave – Complainant reported a female acquaintance was in his residence “making a lot of strange noises.” Member attended and arrested the female as she had outstanding warrants. Paramedics attended and transported the female to hospital as she was clearly under the influence of an illicit substance. Once the female was again able to understand the legal process, she was released with a court date to deal with the warrants.
1:01 p.m. – Parkland County – Complainant reported that a relative had been at his residence at about 5 a.m. stating he had just been stealing copper wire from lease sites. Information only as the male suspect was no longer in the area.
October 1
9:53 a.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 St – Complainant reported a male tried to purchase fuel with a card not registered to him. Under investigation.
1:37 p.m. – Poplar Ridge – Complainant reported an unwelcome former tenant was dumpster diving. Member attended and the complainant informed the male he was no longer welcome on the property and to not return. The male agreed and left, stating he would only return if he had prior permission.
2:56 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Member was made aware of a prank between high school students; two had purchased a domesticated bird and released it into the other’s truck. Parents were already aware; the bird had been returned to the store and two of the students are no longer welcome at the pet store. Member confirmed that the two pranksters will no longer involve live creatures in their pranks.
5:53 p.m. – Drayton Valley – 50 St – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop, during which the driver provided samples of his breath for roadside analysis. As a result, the driver was issued an IRS (immediate roadside suspension) and his truck was impounded. The driver was also issued a summons to attend court as he was driving while suspended.
5:56 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Complainant reported that a male was breaching his Conditional Sentence Order requiring that he remain at a particular location. Investigation indicates the male left the area and may be in the Spruce Grove area. Under investigation, member to obtain an arrest warrant.
9:58 p.m. – Drayton Valley – Members responded to a liquor store for a report that a male entered and stole the cash register and fled on foot. Members patrolled the area but did not locate the suspect. Under investigation, potential suspect identified.
