An individual has been arrested following a complaint about drug trafficking in the community of Enoch.
On Sept. 28 at 11:07 p.m., Parkland RCMP received a call about possible drug trafficking. Police arrived to find a lone male in an allegedly stolen 2003 Honda Civic, hunched over and passed out in the driver’s seat.
Police say the 46-year-old, who resides in Enoch, was arrested without incident for numerous criminal offences. He was charged with possession of stolen property and was also wanted by Edmonton police for mischief and failure to comply.
The individual was remanded into custody and scheduled to appear at the Alberta Court of Justice in Stony Plain on Oct. 1.
