Drayton Valley seeks Youth Advisory Committee members

The Town of Drayton Valley is seeking seven members to fill its Youth Advisory Committee.

The committee is meant to foster a relationship between town council and the youth of Drayton Valley through advocacy, education and engagement.

It acts in an advisory capacity to council and encourages communication with administration and community partners on relevant issues. Members will also conduct research and consultations to address current, emerging and future concerns of local youth.

Applicants must be between the ages of 18 and 24 at the time they apply. Applications can be filled out and submitted online, in person (5120 52 Street), via mail (Box 6837, Drayton Valley, AB, T7A 1A1), or via email (lstrand@draytonvalley.ca).
