Nominations are now being accepted for the 2025 Mayor’s Gala and Community Recognition Awards Night.
This is an annual event that recognizes local businesses, individuals and organizations that go above and beyond to make Drayton Valley a uniquely special community.
Organizers say two awards will be handed out in each of the following categories:
- Business Achievement Award
- Oil & Gas Award
- Community Spirit Award
- New Community Organization Award
- Youth Empowerment Award
- Excellence in Athletics Award
- Arts and Music Award
- Teachers/Educators Award
- Healthcare Award & Emergency Services Award
The submission deadline is June 27.
Nomination forms can be found at all Town facilities and the Town of Drayton Valley website.
The 2025 Mayor’s Gala and Community Recognition Awards night will be held at the MacKenzie Conference Centre on Sept. 18.
