Officials with Environment and Climate Change Canada (ECCC) have issued a Heavy Snowfall Warning for most of central Alberta on Tuesday, March 13, including Brazeau County, the Village of Breton and the Town of Drayton Valley.
Experts are predicting 10 to 20 cm of snow will fall before the end of the day on Thursday.
Drivers are warned that highways and roads may become difficult to navigate as snow begins to accumulate and are being advised to adjust their driving behaviours to changing conditions.
Officials say updates will be posted to the ECCC website as they become available.
