Construction work on 50 Avenue in Drayton Valley is making good progress towards the Oct. 31 completion date.
Town officials say crews will begin paving work on Thursday, Oct. 10, with the goal of having at least one layer down before the weekend and will continue paving work on Monday, Oct. 14.
Once paving is completed, officials say the next steps involve painting lines on the road as well as landscaping along curbs, gutters and rain garden structures.
Officials say plans are already underway to continue rehabilitation work from the 43 Street intersection to Beckett Road for the 2025 construction season.
