A resolution presented by Brazeau County during the Pembina Zone District 3 Rural Municipalities of Alberta (RMA) meeting on Monday, Oct. 7, will be part of the agenda for the full RMA conference in November.
Brazeau County Reeve Bart Guyon spoke at the meeting on Monday, where the County brought forth a resolution to call on the RMA to lobby the provincial government to grant exemptions from what they call unreasonable standards for small community food banks such as the one in Breton.
The zone members unanimously supported this resolution, which will now be brought forth for debate at the full RMA conference in November.
