RCMP are requesting the public’s assistance in identifying a suspect believed to be the source of multiple complaints.
Hinton and Edson RCMP say on the morning of Aug. 19, they received multiple reports of an unknown male suspect who had approached several females from behind, forcibly pulled their pants down and took a photo. Police say these events took place in public areas.
Mounties describe the suspect as:
- Male
- Slim build, approximately 5 feet 8 inches
- 120 pounds
- Appears to be in their early 20’s
- Wearing a black toque, light colored hoodie, brown pants, black shoes with white soles and a blue medical mask
- Driving dark coloured pickup truck
Officers with both Hinton and Edson RCMP say they are actively investigating these disturbing incidents and are urging anyone with information that may aid in identifying the suspect to come forward
