Officials with Jasper National Park say they have begun the transition from re-entry to long-term recovery.
Crews say they are beginning to clean up equipment and continuing to repair water leaks around town. A boil water advisory also remains in effect for most of the townsite.
Officials say contractors and visitors can now retrieve personal items such as tools, tents and trailers that were left behind during the evacuation.

Firefighters say they are continuing to patrol high-priority areas and have been putting out hot spots as close as 100m in the perimeter. Aircrews say they are continuing to work on areas that are inaccessible for ground crews.
Officials are also warning residents that strong winds have the potential to bring down fire-damaged trees. Assessments are being conducted along vital roadways in the park to determine the extent of damage caused to traffic signs and what steps need to be taken to ensure roads in the park can be re-opened safely.
Updates will continue to be posted to the Municipality of Jasper website, and the Jasper National Park Facebook page as they become available.
