The Alberta Junior Hockey League (AJHL) has announced its 2024/25 schedule.
Pre-season action begins Aug. 24, with all 12 teams in regular season play starting Sept. 13.
The 2024 AJHL Showcase will be held from September 25-27 and include 12 regular season games, with a location and schedule to be announced soon.
Playoffs begin March 21.
The schedules comes not long after the league announced realignment, with Devon getting a new club, and Whitecourt firmly back in the mix.

The AJHL will also announce several major changes later this month, including to playing rules, which officials say will, “directly benefit the players, prospects, coaches and game officials by providing consistency and improvement to the standard of play across junior hockey.”
It will also continue its pilot of video goal review at select arenas, and then a final review will take place after the season. It could then be expanded to all arenas, pending the conclusions.
In addition, the AJHL says its teams will also play host this season to national and international events, with more updates coming throughout the summer.
The schedule, with the exception of the AJHL Showcase dates, is available at AJHL.ca.
