According to officials with Brazeau County, Range Helicopters have been contracted to conduct pipeline right of way inspections between April 17 and 23.
Officials say residents will be able to see helicopters in and around the community in an area within 30 kilometres of Drayton Valley as they work to inspect 3800 kilometres of pipeline. As such, residents may see pilots fly around their property multiple times as they check each line.
Officials say efforts are being made to minimize the any disruptions, however, there will be some noise. Staff say they appreciate the understanding and cooperation of residents while they complete this important work.
Any residents with comments or concerns are being asked to contact Chris Hayduck, President of Range Helicopters Inc. via phone at 780-514-8367 or emailing chris@rangeheli.ca.
