According to the Town of Drayton Valley and the Aspen Waste Management Facility, free Tipping Days will be returning this spring.
Organizers say there will be two different weekends where residents can bring their junk to the Aspen Waste Management facility completely free of charge.
The first weekend is Friday, May 3, and Saturday, May 4 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
The second weekend is Friday, May 10, and Saturday, May 11 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.
Officials with the Aspen Waste Management Facility are reminding residents of the 500 kg limit, and that households may only cross the scale ONCE over the two available weekends, stressing that residents CANNOT go both weekends.
