June 2
8:41 am – Drayton Valley – 54 street – Police were dispatched to a complaint of a shed being broken into. Members attended, nothing was taken. It appeared that someone broke in to spend the night.
09:21 am – Drayton Valley – 49 street – Police received a call of a possible break and enter. Complainant advised that they believe someone has broken into a garage at their rental property as there are obvious signs someone is residing in there and the tenant she is evicting told her no one should be in the garage. Members attended, tenant known to RCMP and was clearly lying about letting someone stay in the garage. Members advised the landlord that all items in the garage could be disposed of.
09:52 am – Brazeau County – Highway 759 – Complaint received of a suspicious vehicle near the river. Police contacted the owner of the vehicle who advised his family was camping down near the river for the night.
11:01 am – Drayton Valley – Power Centre Boulevard – Police were dispatched to a complaint of a suspicious female acting strange, doing Kung foo kicks in the air. Members attended and located a known female who was intoxicated on drugs. Female arrested and held until sober.
11:38 am – Brazeau County – complainant advised they were travelling on RR 85 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
11:45 am – Drayton Valley – 58 avenue – Complaint of a mother of a student using threatening towards a 13 year old female student. The threats stem from teenage rumors and gossip. School resource officer engaged who spoke with all parties. Mother warned about uttering threats to a 13 year old youth.
12:07 pm – Brazeau County – Rr 82 – Complainant advised they were travelling on RR 82 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
3:20 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 avenue – Police responded to a complaint of a possibly impaired male who was in distress. Police attended with EMS. EMS checked the male and got him all fixed up.
3:44 pm – Drayton Valley – Canadian Tire – Canadian Tire reported the theft of a car battery. Video surveillance of the female’s doing the theft is available. It is believed they are known to police. Member following up.
4:52 pm – Brazeau County – Lodgepole – Police received a report that an eviction notice will be served in Lodgepole on Saturday. Police explained that this is a civil issue, and the eviction notice is not served or done by police.
5:52 pm – Brazeau County – Poplar Ridge – Police received a call from a known caller in Poplar Ridge having health issues. EMS attended with police and transported the female to the hospital.
6:05 pm – Drayton Valley – Madsen Avenue – Members attended the hospital to assist with a female who was causing problems. Members attended and spoke with the female who agreed to accept the medication that was prescribed.
6:50 pm – Brazeau County – Report received of theft of copper wire from lease site.
7:28 pm – Drayton Valley – 48 avenue – Police received a 911 call from a residence on 48 avenue. Sounds of children in the background. Members followed up with the owner of the residence who confirmed it was children playing with the phone that dialed 911, no emergency existed.
10:18 pm – Brazeau County – Township 492 – Police received a call from a father to assist with his adult son who was described as intoxicated and out of his mind. Members attended and spoke with the male who had been drinking for some time. Sister agreed to let her intoxicated brother stay at her place for the night.
10:50 pm – Brazeau County – Request for assistance received. Police attended, female had reached out to the crisis line and had her sister-in-law coming to get her.
11:07 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 street – Members received a complaint about a possible fight at the Eldorado School. Police attended and located approximately 20 youth who were having a 5 on 5 basketball tournament. Member shot a couple hoops and moved on.
11:11 pm – Drayton Valley – 55 street – Police received a request for a well being check on her mother and daughters as she fears they may be held against their will. Members attended spoke to the mother who advised everything is fine.
June 3
7:54 am – Drayton Valley – Dog Park – Report of suspicious individuals at the dog park. Red Sedan with 3 individuals inside appear to be passed out. Member attended and spoke with individuals who advised they were tired and had been sleeping in the vehicle. No signs of impairment
8:10 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – complainant was driving on Hwy 22 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle causing extensive damage.
9:46 am – Drayton Valley – Econorest – Individual reporting harassment. Complainant stated that they were being accused of stealing building supplies.
11:08 am – Brazeau County – Complainant stated that while they were driving a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle.
1:04 pm – Drayton Valley – 46 Avenue – member on patrol conducted a traffic stop after observing the driver talking on their cell phone. Violation ticket issued.
3:09 pm – Drayton Valley – Report received of a suspicious vehicle. Red and Black Ford pickup with tires in the back and three bikers following. Complainant thinks the truck sprayed the bikers with exhaust and they are now following. Members patrolled the area, neither the pickup up or bikers were located.
3:38 pm – Drayton Valley – 47 Street – Report received of 2 suspicious person dumping cigarette containers. Members attended, individuals had left prior to arrival. Patrols in area were negative.
3:49 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue- Caller reporting theft of magnetic company signs off of vehicles.
4:36 pm – Drayton Valley – Walmart – Report of shoplifting received. Male approximately 50-60 years of age wearing a black baseball hat, black zip up hoodie and blue jeans entered the store and stole several items before exiting through the garden center. Matter is still under investigation.
8:30 pm – Drayton Valley – Beckett road – Report received of motorbikes speeding. 2 Black Harley’s and 1 blue street bike were speeding and driving erratically. Members attended and patrolled the area, bikers not located.
10:49 pm – Drayton Valley – Complainant reporting a collision with a possible stolen vehicle. Complainant stated their vehicle was rammed by their own truck that had been reported stolen last weekend.
11:38 pm – Drayton Valley – 46 Street – Report of suspicious males in the back alley. Members attended area and located a male resident who was outside for some fresh air.
June 4
12:50 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report received of uttering threats. Member attended and spoke with the complainant who advised that they had not yet received any threats, but were anxious about the possibility. No threats were received.
1:02 am – Drayton Valley – 51 Avenue – Complainant reporting suspicious youth on roofs. Members conducted patrols in the area and located 3 youth who admitted to being on the roof. Members provided youth with a warning.
1:38 am – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Request for members to conduct a wellbeing check on an individual sleeping in a vehicle in front of the Derrick Lounge. Members attended and spoke with occupant of vehicle, not intoxicated. Members advised the male to sleep at home.
2:57 am – Brazeau County – Report received of a break and enter to a lease site. Members attended, no break and enter, oilfield company worker.
3:28 am – Brazeau County – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop with a white Dodge Ram who they observed driving erratically and almost crashing into the median. Driver blew a Fail on the roadside test. Male issued a driving suspension and vehicle towed.
7:16 am – Drayton Valley – Madsen Avenue – Report of theft from vehicles received. Complainant stated that their two vehicles had been rummaged through sometime overnight. Purse and small electronic accessories stolen.
10:54 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report received of a 2 vehicle collision. One vehicle had been rear ended by another while stopped. 1 driver charged with following too close.
11:25 am – Drayton valley – 46 Avenue – Report received of a theft of Playstation, gift cards and bag from van.
11:26 am – Lodgepole – Request for members to attend to keep the peace while they issue a notice of eviction. Members attended, no issues.
3:46 pm – Brazeau County – RR 83 – Report received of an ATV roll over. EMS and Fire Department along with police attended. Two individuals were transported to Edmonton hospitals by EMS.
4:38 pm – Brazeau county – RR 74A – Report received stating people camping at the ball diamonds are jumping the fence to the soccer fields and causing damage. Members attended and spoke with organizers of ball tournament who advised they would speak to all the campers.
5:25 pm – Drayton Valley – Report of a landlord tenant dispute regarding gathering of personal items.
9:18 pm – Drayton Valley – 58 Street – Report of an abandoned 911 call. Voices heard in the background, no indication of emergency or issues. Members spoke with individual who apologized and must have pocket dialed 911
10:58 pm – Violet Grove – Request for EMS to attend and police to assist. Both were called off prior to attending.
June 5
12:10 AM – Brazeau County – RR 73 – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for no registration.
2:39 am – Brazeau County – Report of an assault received. Members attended, appears that adults had provided minors with alcohol. Minors became intoxicated and started arguing and fighting.
8:33 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report of an individual cutting down trees. Members attended, male was gone upon arrival.
11:33 am – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting their Red 2006 F350 stolen from campsite. Wallet had been left in vehicle. All cards cancelled.
1:16 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report of a 2 vehicle collision. One vehicle as travelling eastbound and struck a vehicle northbound. No injuries.
1:29 pm – Drayton Valley – 58 Avenue – Report received of an individual attempting to break windows at HW Pickup school. Members attended and located known female. Female arrested, building searched, no entry gained.
3:23 pm – Drayton Valley – Beckett Road – Report of suspicious activity. Known male arrived at residence with a truck load of wire. Vehicle had a flat tire and was driving on the wrong side of the road on a rim. Members attended and driver charged with driving a motor vehicle unfit for road.
9:29 pm – Brazeau County – Poplar Ridge Trailer Court – Report of a suspicious person in the dumpster by the park. Member attended location, male had left and returned to a residence. Members attended residence and spoke with male
10:33 pm – Drayton Valley – Aspen Liquor Store – Complainant advised of a shoplifters. Two males entered the store with hoodies and blue medical masks. They proceeded to the back of the store and stole 2 small bottles of liquor. When employee attempted to speak with them, they walked out of the store.
10:37 pm – Drayton Valley – 43 Street – Report of an alarm coming from Frank Maddock school. Member attended, no alarm, all doors secure.
June 6
6:46 am – Drayton Valley – 64 Street – Complainant reporting theft of a 2005 Blue Chevrolet Silverado from compound. Vehicle had been driven through a fence causing significant damage to both the truck and fence. Vehicle is still outstanding.
8:41 AM – Drayton Valley – Report received of a possible camp with stolen items. Bylaw officer advised
9:49 am – Tomahawk – Report of a panic alarm from the gas station. Keyholder advised they had keyed in the wrong passcode. Member attended and confirmed.
10:01 am – Drayton Valley – 63 Street – Report received of a stolen licence plate.
10:13 am – Tomahawk – Report of a neighbourhood dispute. Occurred the previous week. Matter is under investigation.
10:55 am – Drayton Valley – 53 Avenue – complainant requesting a wellbeing check on individual. Members attended residence and spoke with individual who was fine and visiting family.
11:05 am – Drayton Valley – 48 Street – Request for a wellbeing check on an individual at the pool. Member attended, EMS was on site upon arrival dealing with a child who had hit their head.
11:24 am – Brazeau county – Hwy 22 – Complainant reporting they were travelling on Hwy 22 when a deer came out of the ditch and collided with their vehicle. Extensive damage to the vehicle. Minor injuries to occupants.
11:31 am – Parkland County – Hwy 22 – Neighbour dispute. Neighbour attempted to hit them with a chair, window broken. Member attended and spoke with all parties involved.
12:05 pm – Drayton valley – Power Center Blvd. – Report received of a fraud. Employee misappropriated funds over a few months. Employee has been let go. Matter is under investigation.
12:55 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Female reporting their debit card stolen from their wallet while sleeping. Matter is under investigation.
3:00 pm – Drayton Valley – 52 Avenue – Report received of a hit and run. Complainant advised that their vehicle had been hit causing damage to front end of their vehicle. Note left on vehicle with contact information. Member contacted individual who had left the note. Individual advised that they had accidentally hit the vehicle which is why the left the note.
3:27 pm – Drayton Valley – 54 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for no registration.
3:34 pm – Drayton Valley – Industrial road – Report of a break, enter and theft. Occurred sometime between mid-May and today. Sea can had been broken into and numerous items stolen including a heater, 2 tents, 2 bouncy houses and blowers.
3:41 PM – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop after observing individual go through a stop sign without stopping. Driver issued a violation ticket.
4:52 pm – Brazeau County – Ongoing landlord tenant issues. Tenant returned home to an eviction notice. Civil issue and advised to contact the landlord/tenant board.
10:25 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report of an unwanted person at restaurant. Female is locked in the bathroom and an intoxicated male is outside and wanting to get in. Members attended, both male and female had left prior to arrival. Patrols made, not located.
11:08 pm – Brazeau County – Request for members to locate ambulance that was not responding to radio calls. While members were en route, they were advised that everything was fine.
June 7
9:46 am – Brazeau County – Report received of a break and enter to a lease site. Several batteries stolen.
10:16 am – Brazeau County – Fish and wildlife requesting members attend location to euthanize a deer that was injured. Members attended as requested.
2:20 pm – Lodgepole – complainant reporting they had lost $3000 through an e transfer due to their computer being hacked.
2:52 pm – Drayton Valley – 44 Avenue – Report received of suspicious person. Male was observed pulling out a pair of red and black heavy duty bolt cutters from their pants. When they realized they were being watched they took off behind the trailer. Members patrolled the area, male not located.
2:57 pm – Brazeau County – Request for members to attend to keep the peace as landlord was coming to inspect the residence. Members attended and advised that this was a civil matter and not a police matter. Both parties were advised to contact the landlord tenant board.
4:25 pm – Drayton Valley – Member on patrol observed an individual not wearing their seatbelt. Traffic stop initiated and violation ticket issued to driver.
4:27 pm – Brazeau county – another call received regarding a neighbour/landlord/tenant dispute. Ongoing issue and related to previous call to keep the peace. Members once again attended the residence and spoke with all parties. All parties were advised to stop their behaviour and to contact the landlord tenant office.
5:56 pm – Drayton Valley – Servus Credit Union – Report received of an attempt to cash a fraudulent cheque. Members attended, male had left prior to arrival. Male is well known to members.
6:03 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 22 – Report received of a male on a bike on the highway. Male is speaking to themselves. Member attended and located known male who was fine.
6:53 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report of an unwanted male. Male is refusing to leave the room and refusing to pay. Members attended and male left.
11:24 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop. Driver issued a violation ticket for speeding.
11:42 pm – Brazeau County – RR 53 – Report of a 911 hang-up received. Voices heard in background. Members attended and spoke with the parties involved. An argument had occurred, only verbal.
June 8
2:44 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report received of an unwanted female. Female is refusing to leave. Members attended, female left without issue.
5:15 am – Drayton Valley – 47 Street – Report of a theft of lawn mower. Mower returned to rightful owner
9:05 AM – Drayton Valley – 55A Avenue – Report received of an erratic driver in a green Ford F150. Vehicle was speeding in 30 km zone and cut through parking lot with students in it. Registered owner contacted and warned about the driving behaviour.
10:51 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop after observing driver not wearing seatbelt. Driver issued a violation ticket.
10:53 am – Brazeau County – complainant reporting striking a deer while driving.
11:25 am – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report received of nude photos being sent by students. Parents and student being spoken to regarding the illegal implications of sending such photos.
11:40 am – Drayton Valley – Omniplex – Report of erratic drivers at the Omniplex. 2 vehicles speeding down the road. Vehicles described as a Black 2016 Dodge ram short box with white sticker in back window, loud exhaust and tinted windows. Second vehicle is a Black 2007 Chevy cobalt. Members patrolled the area, vehicles not located
12:07 pm – Drayton Valley – 45 Avenue – Member on patrol conducted a traffic stop with a Silver 2010 Nissan Armada. Driver issued a warning for their erratic driving behaviour.
6:48 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report received of a 2 vehicle collision. One vehicle was turning onto 50 street directly into the path of an oncoming pickup. Minor injuries
6:52 PM – Parkland county – Hwy 759 – 2 reports of an assault received. Two individuals got into a verbal argument when they were discussing land ownership. Members attended and both parties spoken to. Both parties were advised to deal with the issue through their lawyers.
8:29 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Street – Report of individuals hanging out behind the school. Ongoing issue. Individuals leave alcohol containers, broken glass and other paraphernalia behind. Members attended individuals were gone upon arrival.
8:46 pm – Drayton Valley – 50 Avenue – Report received of plywood being removed from building that has been boarded up, Members attended and attempted to clear the building, however access could not be made.
9:26 pm – Brazeau County – Hwy 621 – Report received of a cow walking in the ditch alongside the highway. Member patrolled and located loose bovine who was grazing on a local lawn. Member spoke with nearby property owners and located the owner of the cow who advised they would wrangle the cow to avoid an udder disaster.
June 9
12:47 am – Drayton Valley – 49 Street – Report of a possible break and enter to a residence. Screen on front window is bent. Members attended, screen was warped. No entry gained to residence.
