Stitches and Dreams vision is quite simple. To be a primary source for fulfilling the sewing and quilting goals of their customers. and they have done just that for over 20 years. They are proud members, of not only the quilting community, but of the Drayton Valley community. As they say “the secret to living is giving” and boy have they given back to the community that has been amazing to them at Stitches and Dreams.
Some examples include organizing independent quilt sales with a portion of the proceeds going to the local food bank, donating a wide variety of local initiatives that have included curling bonspiels, golf tournaments, 4-h club and various fundraisers for children. As Stitches and Dreams like to say “When you give back, you’re able to better the lives of the people around you, the people in your community and sometimes the lives of people somewhere else in the world”.
